Gibraltar Point Centre for the Arts
Gibraltar Point Centre for the ArtsAn organization called Artscape came to the rescue in 1999 when the old Toronto Island Public and Natural Science School was threatened with demolition. This important part of island heritage has been transformed into the Artscape Gibraltar Point and now boasts a dynamic mix of uses in a creative and inspiring environment.

Artscape Lodge is an affordable short-term studio and accommodation rental service dedicated to professional artists looking for time and space to focus exclusively on their work in a distraction-free environment. Ideally suited to writers, visual artists and quiet research in all disciplines, Artscape Lodge is open year-round and has provided an inspiring and productive artist retreat to hundreds of artists from Toronto, across Canada and around the world.

The Retreat Centre on the other hand offers a variety of affordable room rentals and catering for a range of events including staff retreats, small conferences, organizational planning sessions, seminars, presentations and symposia, as well as fundraising & special events, and weddings.  With its spectacular natural setting and short ferry ride from downtown Toronto, the Retreat Centre is a venue that can bring a refreshing and positive flavour to any gathering.
