Franklin Children's Garden

Franklin Children's Garden Franklin Children's Garden is inspired by Franklin the Turtle of the celebrated series of children's books, and is one of the newest attractions on Toronto Islands.

The garden is designed for young children as a special place to play in and learn from, to discover nature, and to enjoy the great adventure of learning. Find out how plants grow at Kids Can Press Little Sprouts Garden.  Learn about wetlands at Turtle Pond.  Or just enjoy playing in the vine tunnel, at the treehouse, or with bronze sculptures of Franklin and his friends.  Over the course of the summer there are a series of events including free storytelling and performing arts from Canada's best children's performers.

Franklin Children's Garden is located a short walk from the Centre Island ferry docks.  Follow the signs towards the beach, then keep to the right after crossing the bridge.  For more information check out the website.
